The CBDA standard will be developed by members who serve on the Standards Working Group in early 2020.  This CBDA standard, developed in consultation with the standards company, will be THE industry standard for all CBD products nationally and internationally, as permitted by law.

The standards verification company CBDA will be utilizing has global reach and has analytical facilities in markets throughout the world. This company has a demonstrated track record of success and is the market leader in working with brand owners and leading retailers to verify products sold to consumers. The verification process will look at dose and concentration levels, ingredient identity standards and make sure there are no contaminants, heavy metals, or pesticides in the products.

Brands that affix the CBDA trademarked label to their products will give consumers confidence that the CBD and cannabinoid products they are purchasing are safe and manufactured from trustworthy sources following appropriate GMPs. This standard will be established regardless of when or whether government agencies move forward with government regulations.
